Guangzhou Hot Snow Miracle

Guangzhou Hot Snow Miracle is located at No. 63 Fenghuang North Road, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is a major component of Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, and functions as an indoor snow and ice theme park. It is one of the larger indoor ski resorts in South China, with a building area of 75,000 m2 for the snow and ice venue and a ski area of approximately 57,000 m2. The park maintains a constant subzero temperature of -6°C year-round. Its standout feature is the all?weather indoor snow experience in a subtropical city, breaking seasonal limitations while catering to both professional skiing and family?friendly snow play. It offers dedicated ski trails and separate recreational snow areas, meeting the needs of skiers, families with children, and other visitor groups. The venue is equipped with a ski equipment hall, rental center, rest service areas, and a snow?themed souvenir shop, integrating sports, leisure, educational tours, and cultural tourism – making it one of the core attractions of Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City.

History and Culture

Guangzhou Hot Snow Miracle was formerly known as Guangzhou Sunac Snow World, invested and built by Sunac Cultural Tourism. It was incorporated into the master plan of Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City as a key project. The development of the Sunac Cultural Tourism City in Huadu District was a major municipal cultural tourism initiative in Guangzhou, aimed at filling the gap in large?scale indoor snow and ice tourism in South China and enriching the range of tourism products in the Pearl River Delta region.

After construction was completed, the venue officially opened to the public and was later rebranded under the unified name "Guangzhou Hot Snow Miracle." Since South China has no natural snow in winter, the indoor snow project has provided local residents with a nearby opportunity to experience snow and learn skiing. Over the years, it has regularly hosted snow?based educational programs and mass skiing promotion activities, helping popularize winter sports in the Lingnan area. The site does not have a long historical heritage; its core value lies in being a modern cultural?tourism venue that continuously hosts skiing events, snow?themed festivals, and has become an important base for winter sports promotion in the Pearl River Delta.
