Features: Although the color tone is a comprehensive tendency of various color factors, it is not evenly displayed. Sometimes it emphasizes black, white, and gray, while at other times it highlights the original color or the warm and cool variations. The expressiveness of color is formed by the multi-layered changes of hue, saturation, and color properties. Therefore, when painting watercolor still life in purple tones, the following issues should be noted.
1. First, determine the overall black, white, and gray. In color, the so-called black, white, and gray refer to the drawing elements within the color, that is to say, in a group of still life paintings, the most important color, the brightest color, and the secondary dark and bright colors.
2. Identify the warm and cool tones. An object itself has a warm and cool relationship between its light and dark parts, and the entire painting also has the distinction between cool color blocks and warm color blocks.
3. Pay attention to the treatment of the color tone. In color painting, we advocate that the color tone should be unified, but within unity, variations should be found, that is to say, in warm tones, find cool colors.
