After careful organization, proofreading, annotation, and analysis, we have compiled this series, Classic Works of Chinese Culture, which will be published in twenty volumes. This series has the following features:
1. The ancient text of each book in the series is written in calligraphy by the modern calligraphy master Pang Zhizhong with a hard pen, allowing readers to appreciate the exquisite calligraphy of Pang Zhizhong while experiencing the depth and richness of traditional Chinese culture. While reading and reflecting on the ancient classics, readers can also learn to appreciate the calligraphy art of contemporary masters. For book collectors, these are also valuable treasures with great collectible value.
2. The works collected in this series mainly consist of classic masterpieces with long-standing influence. Following the learning characteristics of readers, especially teenagers, the ancient texts have been annotated, supplemented with colloquial translations or necessary explanations, to make the content more accessible. This helps young readers better understand the classical originals and truly achieve the benefit of reading.
3. During the selection process of this series, the principle of historical authenticity was adhered to. For some doubtful points, we repeatedly examined relevant academic knowledge and traditional culture to gain more accurate historical materials. Proofreading ancient texts is a very tedious and complex task, often requiring the unremitting efforts and improvements of several people. To make this book more complete and authoritative, we consulted a large amount of relevant materials during the selection process.
