To make this book more complete and authoritative, we consulted a large amount of relevant materials during the selection process.
The 36 Stratagems in this book belong to traditional stratagems. Here, the term "stratagem" means "secret planning and calculation," not a derogatory term in the modern sense. This kind of stratagem is not solely about cunning and deceit but must also align with "reason" and "human emotions."
