History and Culture
Ganning Town, where the Wanzhou Grand Waterfall is located, has a long history. It was once the hometown of Gan Ning, a renowned general of the Eastern Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. Guanyin Ancient Cave
The Guanyin Ancient Cave is about 60 meters long, up to 8 meters wide, and up to 5 meters high. The cave maintains an average temperature of 18–20°C, remaining cool and humid year-round. A statue of "Guanyin Seated on a Lotus" is carved from a natural stalactite, standing about 3 meters tall. The statue depicts Guanyin holding a pure vase and wearing a jeweled necklace, surrounded by an artificial lotus pedestal, with a small incense burner below for visitors to offer prayers.
Angel's Wings
The Angel's Wings is a popular photo spot in the scenic area. It features a brightly colored, resplendent pair of angel wings, symbolizing hope and bringing courage and strength to visitors.
