Features: This book is a project under the Sichuan Provincial Social Science Planning Program, edited by Professor Liu Junzhe of Southwest University for Nationalities (an outstanding expert with remarkable contributions in Sichuan). Among the numerous research findings on the politics, economy, and culture of the Sichuan Tibetan areas, some involve aspects of Tibetan values in Sichuan, but there has yet to be a monograph dedicated to a specialized study of Sichuan Tibetan values from the perspective of values. The Sichuan Tibetan people should absorb the reasonable elements of various external values through discrimination, criticism, selection, and transformation, integrating them into their ethnic value culture to enrich its connotation, expand its content, enhance its form, and strengthen its vitality, thereby promoting the development of material civilization and spiritual civilization in the Sichuan Tibetan areas. This project secondly conducts an in-depth and systematic study of the values of Sichuan Tibetans in terms of clans, ethics, life, ecology, culture, marriage, and family, thereby addressing the shortcomings mentioned above.
