"Global Chinese: A Panoramic Chronicle" is the first large-scale documentary in the history of Chinese-language television to comprehensively record the Chinese diaspora worldwide. It has now begun broadcasting in over 100 television stations across Singapore, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and within China, including Taiwan, Hong Kong's Phoenix Chinese Channel, Europe Channel, and America Channel. It ranks in the top 10 in viewership ratings in over 40 television stations. This is truly an eye-opening and captivating work that allows us to glimpse those nearly arrogant celebrities—politicians, scientists, architects, and entrepreneurs—who shape our world. When I learned that this massive project was completed by a single individual, it completely transcended the boundaries of my rational perception. As the author reveals, life to him is a continuous interweaving of reality and fantasy, the surface and the hidden mystery within. This also gives his work a unique and astonishing impact on the soul, clearly presenting the words and thoughts of the most talented and challenging figures of our time, their appearances and their true selves.
