Manhua Manor

Manhua Manor is located at No. 1528, South Section of Shulong Avenue, Xindu District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, 6 kilometers from downtown Chengdu, with a total area of more than 600 mu. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The scenic area is a professional urban flower sea integrating flower appreciation and leisure, specialty cuisine, science popularization and sightseeing, wedding photography, conference training, children's amusement park, and one-stop flower shopping. With flowers blooming in all four seasons and a collection of more than 5,000 species of rare flowers from around the world, it is a relatively large leisure and flower-viewing destination in the suburbs of Chengdu. It has been awarded honors such as "Chengdu Top 50 Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Destinations," "Chengdu's Most Beautiful Flower-Viewing Base," and "Trendy Chengdu Popular Check-in Destination."

History and Culture

The predecessor of Manhua Manor was a large-scale flower industrial park that Chengdu Weisheng Company, a leading enterprise in Chengdu's flower industry, began building in 2002. After nearly 20 years of development, it has now become a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating sightseeing, leisure, entertainment, culture, and other functions. In April 2017, the 2017 European Rose Festival of Manhua Manor opened. From September 20 to 22, 2018, a large-scale mass cultural performance event themed "Charming Golden Autumn, Dancing Manhua" was held for the 2018 Manhua Manor Lily Festival. In October 2020, the 2020 Fifth Lily Festival of Manhua Manor officially kicked off. In March 2023, the launch ceremony of the "2023 Huakai Tianfu Spring Outing and Flower Appreciation Season" event, themed "Prosperous Flowers Welcoming the Universiade · Spring Breeze Traveling Through Chengdu," was held at Manhua Manor.

Colorful Flower Fields

The terraced flower sea pours down like a rainbow. Tulips bloom from March to April, and roses bloom in May, presenting a breathtaking scene.

Cherry Blossom Valley

In spring, thousands of cherry trees form a forest, complemented by Japanese-style wooden bridges and streams, full of Japanese flavor, as if you were in Kyoto.

Cute Pet Paradise

An interactive area with small animals such as alpacas and peacocks, as well as sea lion performances. It is a must-visit place for families with children.


Da Vinci Rose Garden

Formed by roses of various colors, with a European-style fountain in the middle and flower columns surrounded by fresh flowers.


French Rose Garden

Various French roses are planted in the garden, and roses of different shapes form brightly colored rose passages.


Succulent Plant Garden

This carefully built 5,000-square-meter dreamland is the largest outdoor landscaped succulent garden in the country, introducing and gathering more than 2,000 kinds of premium succulents from around the world.


Manhua Glass Bridge

The first internet-famous glass bridge in an urban area in western China, 35 meters high, 3.6 meters wide, and 228 meters long in total. Built along the mountain according to the terrain of the flower sea, it is magnificent and spans a 600-mu flower sea secret realm, creating a 360-degree panoramic view in the air. It is composed of 70 transparent special glass panels, including 8 special-effect glass panels, and adopts a step-by-step flower blooming special effect.

One-day tour route: 09:00 arrive at the manor - take photos at Cherry Blossom Valley - rest at the Glass Flower House - 12:00 lunch among the flowers - interact at Cute Pet Paradise - 14:00 check in at Colorful Flower Fields - enjoy the panoramic view at the mountaintop observation deck - 17:00 return or wait for the nighttime light show (open seasonally).

Tour Suggestions:

If you prefer quietness, choose a weekday rather than a weekend and avoid peak holidays.

In spring, those allergic to pollen should prepare masks and medicine. Basic medicines are sold in the shops in the park.

Follow the official WeChat public account in advance to get real-time flower season forecasts and event information.

Wear comfortable flat shoes. There are many slopes and steps in the manor, and the walking area is relatively large.

You may bring your own picnic mat and enjoy a picnic on the lawn areas in the park.

Tour civilly and do not trample on flower fields or feed the animals.

Drones need to be reported in advance.

Pay attention to the signs in the park and abide by relevant regulations.

In case of severe weather, some attractions may be closed. Make preparations in advance to adjust your itinerary.

Transportation:

From Chengdu: Take Metro Line 3 to Zoo Station and transfer to Bus 655 to Manhua Manor Station, or transfer to Bus 198 and get off at Manhua Manor Station; take Metro Line 7 and get off at Erxianqiao, then transfer to Bus 666 and get off at Manhua Manor Station; take the Second Ring Elevated Express Bus and get off at SM Plaza, then transfer to Bus 666 and get off at Manhua Park Station.

From Xindu: Take Metro Line 3 to Sanhechang Station, then transfer to Bus X107 or X16 and get off at Manhua Manor.

Self-driving: About 40 minutes from downtown Chengdu. Navigate to "Manhua Manor." Parking fees are 10-20 yuan/day; you can also navigate to "Manhua Manor East Gate." The parking lot in the scenic area charges about 5 yuan/hour.
