Features: The book Madmen, Idiots, and Perverts tells us about the remarkable (or, to be more precise, terrible) misdeeds committed by royal members throughout history. From ancient Rome to the reign of Edward VII in Britain, from the luxurious rooms of Versailles to the dark corners of the Bastille, European great monarchs were unparalleled masters in creating atrocities, self-destruction, or expressing various pathological desires. Otherwise, they would leave this world in shameful ways or encounter terrible misfortune.
