To implement the requirements of the Party's "16th National Congress" to "strengthen the Party's governance capability and improve the Party's leadership and governance level," and to further develop civil servant talent resources, cultivate a high-quality and professional civil service team, People's Publishing House, based on the "General Competency Standard Framework for National Civil Servants," organized professors and researchers from Peking University, Renmin University of China, the Central Party School, and the National School of Administration to compile the "Civil Servant Nine Competency Training Series."
This series of textbooks follows the nine competency standards proposed in the "General Competency Standard Framework for National Civil Servants," with each competency standard compiled into a separate textbook, making a total of nine volumes. The series adheres to reform and innovation, drawing on the beneficial experiences of domestic and international training materials. It breaks away from the traditional textbook writing method and adopts three parts: competency standards, learning guides, and competency assessments. This approach enhances the targetedness, practicality, and operability of the training, highlights case studies, and increases the fun and depth and breadth of learning. It is an essential read for civil servants to update their knowledge systems and improve their capabilities.
