Features: This reference book, combining the functions of an anthology, commentary, and dictionary, has become an essential tool for students and literature enthusiasts due to its collection of the essence of Chinese literature, as well as its clear and in-depth explanations and rich references. To meet the needs of readers with different cultural backgrounds, this series is a revised version of the original dictionary, selecting outstanding works, retaining some appendices, and being compact in size. This book includes the works of over 100 Yuan Dynasty qu poets, arranged chronologically. It features over 270 short qu poems, 14 sets of qu, and over 40 zaju plays. The commentary articles for short qu poems are mostly one per piece, with a total of over 300 entries and over 30 line drawings. The book uses simplified characters, with traditional or variant characters used when necessary to avoid ambiguity. Difficult terms or sentences in the qu are generally explained within the commentary articles, with occasional annotations at the end of the qu. Historical dates related to ancient history are generally presented in traditional chronology, with corresponding Common Era dates added. The Common Era dates in annotations usually omit the word "year."
