Main Attractions

Morgen Station (First Viewing Platform)

It does not require much stair climbing, making it suitable for the elderly and children. The parking lot is a good spot for photographing fences grassland. Personally, I think the scenery here is better than at the Second Viewing Platform.

Ajinai Viewing Platform (Second Viewing Platform)

Similar to the First Viewing Platform, the viewing platform is not very high, and the area near the parking lot is also great for photos.

Haolin Wenduri Station (Third Viewing Platform)

It takes 20–30 minutes of stair climbing to reach, and the river scenery seen from here is better. On the other side of the viewing platform, you can photograph the grassland and the road. You can also park beside the road and then walk a short distance to the riverbank.

Muyun Mountain Top

The scenery is similar to that of the cliff. Entry requires purchasing afternoon tea (186 yuan/person).

Horseback Mountain (Cliff)

Many friends are determined to visit the cliff because, compared with the scenic area's viewing platforms, the cliff has no fences, making photos look better.

Food

Hand-held Meat

Cut the bone-in mutton apart along the joints, place it in a large pot, and boil it without adding salt or other seasonings. When eating, remove the meat from the cooked mutton and dip it in chive flower sauce, mashed garlic, and other condiments to fully experience the tenderness and original flavor of the mutton.

Milk Tea

A traditional Mongolian beverage made by boiling brick tea and mixing in fresh milk or goat milk, then adding butter, roasted millet, and other ingredients. It has a rich milky aroma and is nutritious, able to quench thirst and satisfy hunger.

Roasted Lamb Chops

Made from tender lamb chops that are marinated and then roasted in a special oven. The outer skin is golden and crispy, while the inside is tender and juicy, full of aroma.

Dried Beef

Beef is cut into strips and made through multiple processes such as marinating and air-drying. It has a firm texture and becomes more fragrant the more you chew. It is a food that is easy to carry and preserve.

Mongolian Pot Tea

First boil brick tea, then add milk, cream, roasted millet, dried beef, and other ingredients, and simmer them together in a pot. The flavor is rich and warms both body and heart.

Travel Tips:

June to August is the most beautiful period on the grassland, among which July and August are the peak tourist season, and costs in all aspects are relatively high. In June, there are fewer tourists than in the peak season, and the value for money is also higher. You can choose your travel time according to your own schedule and budget.

You can choose various ways to play, such as walking by the river, riding horses, taking a hot air balloon ride, participating in a bonfire party, and camping, to fully experience the charm of the grassland.

If time is sufficient, you can arrange a two-day itinerary to slowly enjoy the beautiful scenery of the scenic area and deeply experience grassland life.

Notes:

Grassland weather is changeable, with uncertain sunshine and rain and uneven cold and heat. Be sure to prepare warm clothing and rain gear.

Take good sun protection and moisturizing measures. The grassland sunlight is strong and ultraviolet radiation is high. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a sun hat, and other items, and also bring moisturizing skincare products.

Protect the environment, do not litter, and keep the grassland clean.

Observe the regulations in the scenic area, do not drive over the grassland at will, and tour according to designated routes and areas.

If you choose the self-driving North Bank route, pay attention to road conditions and drive cautiously, especially novice drivers.
