Book Description:
Guided by Marxist ethics and grounded in theories of utilitarianism, deontology, and value theory, this book is written based on a thorough study of dozens of versions of medical ethics textbooks and monographs in different systems currently used in China. It incorporates the best of these works to create an ideal textbook for medical students' medical ethics education and an essential tool for practicing healthcare professionals. It serves as both a reliable assistant for healthcare management personnel and a guide to establishing new types of medical interpersonal relationships.
The book is divided into 6 parts and 15 chapters, providing detailed explanations of the fundamental theories, behavioral principles, population control, clinical guidelines, life-and-death decisions, and the ethical background of medical practice. To facilitate the connection between theory and practice, case studies are included at the end of each chapter. During the writing process, efforts were made to ensure clear perspectives, a rigorous structure, well-defined organization, and representative examples. The book's system has been tested in some medical colleges and healthcare institutions, receiving positive feedback from students, healthcare professionals, and management personnel.
