Features: To implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Medical Waste Management Regulations," to standardize the construction of centralized incineration facilities for medical waste, prevent environmental pollution caused by medical waste incineration, protect the environment, and safeguard human health, the "Technical Specification for the Construction of Centralized Incineration Facilities for Medical Waste" (hereinafter referred to as "this technical specification") has been formulated. This technical specification was proposed by the Science and Technology Standards Department of the State Environmental Protection Administration. Wuhan Safety and Environmental Research Institute was responsible for drafting it, and Shenyang Environmental Science Research Institute and the Chinese Environmental Science Research Institute participated in its completion. The State Environmental Protection Administration issued this standard on May 24, 2005, and it took effect upon issuance. The State Environmental Protection Administration is responsible for interpreting this technical specification.
