Features: To implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China," to regulate the construction of centralized incineration facilities for hazardous waste, to prevent pollution caused by hazardous waste incineration, to protect the environment, and to safeguard human health, this technical specification has been formulated. This technical specification was proposed by the Science and Technology Standards Department of the State Environmental Protection Administration. It was drafted by the Shenyang Environmental Science Research Institute and completed in collaboration with the Wuhan Safety and Environmental Protection Research Institute and the China Environmental Science Research Institute. The standard was issued by the State Environmental Protection Administration on May 24, 2005, and implemented from the date of issuance. This technical specification is interpreted by the State Environmental Protection Administration.
