Tianjin Haichang Polar Ocean Park is located at No. 61 Xiangluowan Central Business District, Binhai New Area, Tianjin, and is a National 4A-level tourist attraction. The scenic area covers an area of about 49,000 square meters, with a building area of 490,000 square meters, of which the science exhibition area is 370,000 square meters, and the tallest building is 67 meters high. Its architectural appearance is inspired by a swimming whale, with a unique shape. It is a large open tourist attraction integrating polar ocean cultural experience, science education, and leisure entertainment. The scenic area has eleven major exhibition areas, five major animal science shows, three science classrooms, and three science laboratories, gathering more than 130 large polar animals and more than 30,000 marine organisms, providing visitors with a rich polar ocean experience.
History and Culture
On May 23, 2008, Tianjin Haichang Polar Ocean Park officially began construction. As an important project in the national strategic layout of Haichang Ocean Park Holdings Co., Ltd., it emerged in response to the development opportunities of Tianjin Binhai New Area. On September 30, 2010, the park officially opened, becoming one of the larger polar ocean theme parks in China at that time. On January 3, 2013, the scenic area was rated as a National AAAA-level tourist attraction, marking that it had reached a relatively high level in tourism services and scenic area management. On January 1, 2017, China's largest jellyfish museum, the "Future Jellyfish Museum," officially opened to the public, enriching the exhibition content of the scenic area. In 2022, the "Exploring the Fish Universe" exhibition hall opened. On April 2 of the same year, the scenic area was rated as one of the "First Batch of National Science Education Bases," highlighting its important role in the field of science education. On January 17, 2023, Tianjin Haichang Polar Ocean Resort Hotel opened, further improving the supporting service facilities of the scenic area and enhancing the visitor experience.

Antarctic Penguin Island
Antarctic Penguin Island is the exclusive habitat for penguins. The park highly restores the polar day and polar night environment of Antarctica, as well as natural scenes such as clean glaciers and blue seawater. A variety of penguins live here. Visitors can observe the penguins' living habits up close, feel their leisurely posture in a simulated Antarctic environment, and take photos with these cute "Antarctic envoys" to immersively experience the unique atmosphere of Antarctica.
Mysterious Arctic Village

Transportation:
Bus: You can take Tianjin buses 110, 821, 940, etc., and get off at Polar Ocean World Station, then walk about 10 minutes to reach the entrance of the scenic area.
Subway: Take Tianjin Metro Line 9 and get off at Tanggu Station, then transfer to a bus or taxi to the scenic area. The taxi ride is about 15 minutes.
Self-driving: Starting from the center of Tianjin, drive along Jinbin Expressway, turn onto Haibin Expressway, exit at Xiangluowan, and follow the navigation instructions to reach the scenic area.
