Tianshan Sea World · Mi Cube Water Park

Tianshan Sea World · Mi Cube Water Park is located on Tianshan Road, Xiaozhan Town, Jinnan District, Tianjin, and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. As one of the larger indoor constant-temperature water amusement centers in North China, the scenic area takes "water entertainment" as its core feature, combining tropical charm with advanced amusement facilities to create a play experience suitable for all four seasons. The park building adopts a unique "Mi Cube" shape. Its overall exterior looks like a huge white cube, while the interior presents a rich tropical coastal atmosphere. According to public data, its building area is about 43,000 square meters, and its total site area is about 130 mu. It can accommodate tens of thousands of visitors at the same time and is a comprehensive water park integrating water entertainment, hot spring wellness, dining, and accommodation.

Historical Culture

The construction of Tianshan Sea World · Mi Cube Water Park is somewhat related to the historical background of Xiaozhan Town in Tianjin. Xiaozhan Town is famous for the "Xiaozhan Military Training" in the late Qing Dynasty and is an important site in modern Chinese military history. During the planning and construction of the park, although its main positioning is modern water entertainment, it also integrated local regional cultural elements to a certain extent, aiming to allow visitors to indirectly feel the historical heritage of Xiaozhan Town while having fun. However, as a modern amusement venue, its own history is relatively short. It mainly relies on modern tourism development concepts and advanced amusement facility construction, and it officially opened to the public in 2013, filling the gap of a large indoor water park in Tianjin and its surrounding areas.
