Publishing Time: 2005-05-01
Features: In the fast-paced urban life, new policies, information, and fresh events are released and occur every day. However, no matter how important or exciting the information is, it will become fleeting as time passes. By the time we want to use it, we realize it has already become difficult to trace. To facilitate people's lives, the Beijing Municipal Local Compilation Committee Office broke the traditional pattern of official compendiums being used solely by officials. They personally compiled the Citizen's Life Yearbook, a record of the year's important new policies, information, and events for the public. The content covers policy regulations and related information on social security, medical insurance, labor employment, rights protection, public safety, and other aspects, as well as information on all aspects of people's lives. The book also features a special "Life Warning" section to remind citizens of various risks in daily life. The entire book reflects the government's people-centered philosophy and serves as another shining point in building a harmonious socialist society. Beijing Citizen's Life Yearbook (2005) is divided into 14 chapters and 52 sections, with a total of 629 entries. The collected materials span from January 2004 to December 31, 2004. The main content includes administrative regulations and rules related to people's lives released by the government, fashion information published by authoritative social departments, and knowledge related to the protection of citizens' rights. The government regulations and their interpretations included in this book are reference information provided to readers. If needed, readers can consult the original documents or contact relevant departments.
