Features: Information system integration technology is a fundamental technology in information system engineering. This book focuses on the architecture of information systems from the perspective of comprehensive information system design, covering the concepts, principles, and objectives of information system integration, as well as its foundational technologies. It provides an in-depth description of information system integration technology at three levels: network integration, data integration, and application integration. The main contents of this book include: the architecture of information systems, the computing models of information systems, and several issues in system integration; the framework, project management, engineering supervision, system integrators, and user behavior analysis in information system integration; the architecture of network system integration, network transmission media, network transmission equipment, network switching technology, network access technology, network management and security, and structured cabling; the methods and standards of data integration, data warehouses, heterogeneous data integration, data integration tools, metadata and management, and typical examples of data integration; the concepts and mainstream technologies of application integration; examples of network integration, e-commerce solutions, and e-government systems. This book can serve as a textbook for undergraduate students in majors such as Information System Engineering, Computer Information Management, and Management Engineering in universities. It can also be used as a training manual and reference book for information system developers, management personnel, and computer software developers.
