Where there is crime, there is punishment, and where there is punishment, there is the execution of punishment. During the process of criminal execution, many practical problems arise. How should these problems be resolved? This is a very worthwhile area of study. The book is titled "Research on the System of Criminal Execution" because what is involved in this book is not merely the system of criminal execution as stipulated in the Criminal Law and the Criminal Procedure Law, but also the system of conditional release outside prison as stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Law and the Prison Law. These systems all fall within the scope of criminal execution and should be studied as a whole. The system of capital punishment execution is a part that the author consciously avoids discussing, as capital punishment is a method of punishment that deprives the life of a criminal and is a severe penalty. Research on the issue of capital punishment should be a specialized topic and is difficult to address comprehensively in this book. In our original intention, of course, we hope to make this book more profound, broader, and higher in level, providing some reference value for the theoretical research of criminal law in our country and the practical work of criminal justice.
