Features: What content should a textbook on "Principles of Financial Management" include has not yet formed a recognized model domestically and internationally. Since 1998, many universities in China have established independent financial management majors. Since then, how to appropriately distinguish the content between "Principles of Financial Management," "Intermediate Financial Management," and "Advanced Financial Management" has always been a challenging issue in the teaching process of financial management in universities. The formation of this difficulty is directly related to our lack of a textbook series on financial management that meets both financial management practice and teaching needs, including principles of financial management, intermediate financial management, and advanced financial management. Therefore, how to accelerate the development of textbooks for these three core courses in financial management is an urgent task for the construction of financial management disciplines in Chinese universities. The "Principles of Financial Management" textbook presented to readers is the result of continuous exploration by some teachers of the Accounting Department of Nanjing University in financial management teaching in recent years. This textbook is mainly suitable for undergraduate teaching needs in financial management and accounting majors. It also has high reference value for MBA and MPAcc students who want to further master financial management principles, as well as for a broad range of financial and accounting practitioners to improve their financial theoretical level. Additionally, we have referenced some excellent articles in the industry as case studies and discussion questions for this book.
