Stine, the author of "Goosebumps." This series depicts the various amusing adventures of a group of clever, mischievous, and prank-loving fourth-grade students at Rowdy School, led by Bernie Bridges. The exaggerated and humorous descriptions vividly portray the colorful and expressive campus life of contemporary American children, bringing their imagination and creativity to life. For young Chinese readers, this series offers a light-hearted and enjoyable psychological experience to vent their burdens and frustrations—the exhaustion caused by academic tasks and the pressure from academic competition in real life will be alleviated and relaxed, allowing them to unleash their free and unrestrained nature. It helps readers develop a sense of humor and a healthy mindset through hearty laughter. The Great Snail Contest tells the story of a poor student who wants to become a good one. Bernie Bridges decides to change himself to become a completely good student and no longer cause any trouble—to study in the library during the day, attend self-study in the classroom at night, and no longer participate in any mischief. But what about the snail competition? It's the competition that determines whether Bernie or his arch-rival Sherman Ox will become the champion, and Bernie's snail always wins the championship in every competition. In the end, does Bernie successfully win the pretty girl's affection?
