Features: Chinese superior medicinal materials refer to traditional Chinese medicines that can prolong life, strengthen the body, and have few toxic side effects. They are not only used for treating diseases, dietary therapy, and nourishment, but are also highly beneficial for daily use by healthy individuals. This book is based on the standard of "mainly nourishing life to align with the heavens, being non-toxic, and not harming people even with long-term use," combining practical functions such as lightening the body, boosting energy, anti-aging and longevity, and preventing diseases and replenishing vitality. It selects over 100 common and frequently used medicinal materials from the Ben Cao Jing, along with 46 medicinal materials commonly used in daily life for health preservation (but not listed in the directory of superior medicinal materials in the Ben Cao Jing), as well as 69 "medicinal and edible" materials promulgated by the Ministry of Health (some of which are recorded in the Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing), forming a new group of "superior medicinal materials" highly suitable for health preservation and care. The book also dedicates considerable space to explaining the properties and functions of medicinal materials, the characteristics of human body constitutions and medication principles, the contraindications of superior medicinal materials, and their application in health preservation and care. In addition to introducing over 200 superior medicinal materials suitable for health preservation, the book lists hundreds of effective small remedies and dietary therapy recipes. It is suitable for family health preservation and collection.
