Features: Liu Chunmei was born on December 6 in Dangyang, Hubei. She graduated with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Oil Painting Department of Hubei Fine Arts Institute between 1994 and 2000. She has been teaching at the Beijing Campus of China University of Mining and Technology ever since. Art creation is actually an external expression of a person's inner world. If one merely realistically depicts objective objects, it is limited to a mere technical realm. As an oil painter, Liu Chunmei's artistic creation has persistently pursued her own unique artistic space. Whether it is portraying the inner world and outward appearance of urban youth or exploring themes of youth and fashion, she uses her artistic sensitivity and the perspective of a young female painter to seek her distinctive artistic sense. Gradually, she has established her own expressive methods and artistic language, creating something that objectively exists yet differs from pure naturalism. She strives to evoke the intrinsic charm and spiritual essence of the objective world as experienced and perceived within her heart. Therefore, her works stand out in the art world due to their profound depth, richness, and uniqueness.
