Features: The low-key Associate Professor Chen Fuchun of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts has long been "hidden in teaching," devoted to "teaching and nurturing people," silently dedicating his wisdom and talent to the university lecture hall. He is a versatile and well-rounded artist. In terms of flower-and-bird painting, he excels in freehand style while also mastering meticulous brushwork. Regarding calligraphy, he is proficient in all five styles—regular, cursive, clerical, seal, and running scripts—and has also conducted in-depth research in seal carving. Over the past two decades, while teaching, he has thoroughly explored traditional flower-and-bird painting, carving out his own artistic realm. Chen Fuchun was born in Jixian, Tianjin in 1955. He graduated from the (Chinese Painting) program of the Fine Arts Department at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1986 and was hired as a teacher the same year. Later, he attended the Master's Program in Seal Art Education at the Seal Art Research Institute of Capital Normal University. Currently, he is a teacher at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, a member of the Tianjin Gongbi Painting Research Association, and its vice secretary-general.
