Features: Longquzhai (now the seat of Danfeng County People's Government in Shaanxi Province) is located by the Danjiang River. The most prominent geographical feature of this area is its blend of northern and southern styles, while the most distinctive cultural characteristic is its fusion of Qin and Chu influences. Although the Danjiang is a mountainous river, its course has created conditions for the development of land transportation routes. Northward, the roads lead to the Guanzhong Plain, connecting to the northwestern regions of China, while southward, they reach the Nanyang Basin and Jianghan Plain, linking to the central and southeastern regions of the country. Historically, this area was regarded as a transportation hub and a shortcut for military expeditions. Many remarkable figures, stories, and cultural phenomena in this region can be explained by this geographical advantage in transportation. However, in Longquzhai, what is condensed is the most vibrant essence of the dynamic regional culture of the Shangluo Mountains.
