Features: This standard is a guiding standard, applicable to the cleaner production audit, assessment of cleaner production potential and opportunities, performance evaluation, and performance announcement system of cleaner production in textile industry (cotton dyeing and printing) production enterprises. Based on meeting national and local environmental standards, this standard is formulated according to the current industry technology, equipment level, and management level, and is divided into three levels: Level 1 represents international advanced cleaner production standards, Level 2 represents domestic advanced cleaner production standards, and Level 3 represents basic domestic cleaner production standards. With the continuous advancement and development of production technology, this standard will also be revised regularly, generally every three to five years. According to the general requirements of cleaner production, cleaner production indicators are generally divided into six categories: process and equipment requirements, resource and energy utilization indicators, product indicators, pollutant generation indicators (before end-of-pipe treatment), waste recovery and utilization indicators, and environmental management requirements. Considering the characteristics of cotton dyeing and printing enterprises in the textile industry, this standard divides cleaner production indicators into five categories: process and equipment requirements, resource and energy utilization indicators, pollutant generation indicators, product indicators, and environmental management requirements.
