Features: This standard is a guiding standard, applicable to the cleaner production audit, identification of cleaner production potential and opportunities, performance evaluation, and cleaner production performance announcement system in integrated steel plants and electric arc furnaces (short process). Based on meeting national and local environmental standards, this standard is formulated according to the current industry technology, equipment level, and management level, and is divided into three levels: Level 1 represents international advanced cleaner production standards, Level 2 represents domestic advanced cleaner production standards, and Level 3 represents basic domestic cleaner production standards. With continuous technological advancement and development, this standard will also be revised regularly, generally every three to five years. According to general cleaner production requirements, cleaner production indicators are generally divided into six categories: process and equipment requirements, waste recovery and utilization indicators, resource and energy utilization indicators, pollutant generation indicators (before end-of-pipe treatment), product indicators, and environmental management requirements. Considering the characteristics of the steel industry, this standard includes all six categories of indicators mentioned above and specifies specific assessment indicators for each category based on the long/short process flow of steel production.
