What are learning functions? As we all know, when memorizing new words, most people cannot memorize all the content in a dictionary. They will first filter the information, only remembering the commonly used or necessary parts. This is the purpose of this book. The book also collects phrases related to a certain word, known as phrasal verbs, with about 900 in total. These phrasal verbs are the most frequently encountered in reading and exams. Each phrasal verb is paired with concise example sentences to illustrate its usage, and synonyms and antonyms of phrasal verbs are also indicated. Additionally, the book provides supplementary information on certain related word forms to help learners expand their vocabulary. Although some of these derived words may not strictly belong to the vocabulary, learners can recognize more related words by understanding the changes in their word roots.
