Features: The National English Level Test (Public English Test System) is a national English proficiency examination system designed and managed by the National Education Examination Center. It is a nationally authoritative examination system with international standards. By assessing candidates' proficiency, it issues nationally recognized English proficiency certificates, which serve as the basis for personnel assessment and recruitment by human resources departments, meeting the needs of society for English ability evaluation and talent employment. The National English Level Test is divided into five levels and an additional level, which will gradually replace existing English tests such as the junior high school entrance examination, vocational and technical school foreign language tests, senior high school graduation examination, self-study examination, adult college entrance examination, and government-funded overseas study foreign language proficiency tests. At the same time, it guides the direction of English test questions for the college entrance examination and postgraduate entrance examination.
