The twenty-six volumes of "Conglu" and the ten volumes of "Yulu" were compiled by Wu Zhenyu of the Qing Dynasty. Wu Zhenyu (1792-1870), styled Zhongyun and styled Yifu, was from Qiantang, Zhejiang. His study was named Huanyangji Zhai. He passed the imperial examination in the 19th year of the Jiaqing reign and was appointed as a compiler in the Hanlin Academy. He once served as a compiler, supervisor, and proofreader in the Imperial Edicts Compilation Office. His works include "Huayiguan Shilù, Cilù, Wenlüe," "Qianyu," "Qianxing Jicheng," and "Hanguo Hangzhou Shige Jiji." Huanyangji Conglu is one of his most dignified and dedicated works. This book primarily focuses on institutions and regulations, while also covering palaces, halls, gardens, interesting anecdotes, imperial examinations, military affairs, food and clothing, archives, publications, entertainment, and celebrations, providing a relatively comprehensive depiction of the Qing court. The ten volumes of "Yulu" not only supplement the anecdotes of the palace but also record the customs of Sichuan and Yunnan, famous scenic spots in various regions, literary tales, and elegant discussions among scholars.
