Features: This book is a teaching resource designed to accompany the "National Primary and Secondary School Teacher Continuing Education Textbook" "Educational Principles" (edited by Su Wenlong, Liao Shiren, and Zhu Chunxin), which was one of the first batches recommended by the Ministry of Education for teacher continuing education. It is intended for use in primary and secondary school teacher continuing education. The editors strive to reflect the latest research findings in the field of education, as well as new developments in educational philosophy, concepts, theory, and practice, to serve the needs of teacher continuing education. The content of this book is divided into two main parts: teaching consultation and teaching consultation materials. The former generally includes sections such as teaching objectives and requirements, a brief analysis of teaching materials, and teaching suggestions. It also provides appropriate comparative analysis of content from other institutions' teaching materials and certain papers that may have differing interpretations or ambiguities, to assist learners in discernment and reference. The latter selects relevant educational works from both domestic and international sources, national new policy-related educational documents, achievements in deepening educational and teaching reforms, and summaries of educational practical experience, aiming to help teachers or self-learners broaden their perspectives. Both parts are arranged in the order of the chapters in "Educational Principles." Since the editors of this book are also the editors of "Educational Principles," the selection of content for "Educational Principles" was carefully reviewed through multiple references, comparisons, and repeated deliberations during the writing process. When analyzing the, the editors were able to address controversial or differently understood issues by combining the guiding principles of the writing process, presenting their own insights and conclusions after long-term reflection and discussion. This helps learners better understand the fundamental content selected for the textbook by grasping the editors' perspectives. Given that the courses and textbooks for primary and secondary school teacher continuing education are still under development, and the allocation of class hours for educational disciplines in the continuing education curriculum plan remains to be determined, this book does not provide suggestions for the distribution of teaching hours for each chapter of "Educational Principles." Instructors and self-learners are advised to handle this flexibly based on actual circumstances.
