Millennium Yao Village

Located in Nangang Village, Sanpai Town, Liannan County, Qingyuan City, the "Millennium Yao Village" is over 200 kilometers away from Guangzhou. It sits close to Hunan Province and borders Hezhou, Guangxi. Nestled among the mountains of a karst landscape, the village can only be reached by winding and rugged mountain roads.

Built during the Song Dynasty, the village boasts a history of over a thousand years. It is recognized as the largest, oldest, and most distinctive Yao village not only in China but also worldwide. It feels particularly serene and mysterious when rain falls and mist shrouds the area.

The ancient village is not very large, with many parts still under development. Key attractions include the "Millennium Ebony," "Ancient City Walls," "Ancient Village Gates," "Yao Art Exhibition Hall," and "Pangu Temple." Near the parking lot, you can also find the "Long Drum Dance Performance Altar," with most of these sights concentrated along the main tourist path.
