Features: Editor's Recommendation: This small dictionary is compressed and adapted from the Modern Chinese Dictionary, primarily intended for primary school teachers and readers with junior high school education. The book includes approximately 30,000 entries, such as single characters and words. After revision, more than 5,000 compound words were added, bringing the total number of entries to 35,000. The single-character entries in this small dictionary are arranged in alphabetical order of Pinyin. Multi-character entries are generally listed under the corresponding single-character entries, with some notes added under other single-character entries. Entries with the same form but different meanings are listed separately. The Chinese characters used for single-character entries follow the currently accepted standard forms. All entries are annotated with Pinyin, while multi-character entries are generally not annotated, except for additional annotations where necessary.
