Features: This book is one of the highly renowned series compiled and published by the famous scholar Miao Qiansun during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. The battles recorded in the book in sequence—Zhang Jun's Battle of Gaoqiao (also known as the Battle of Mingzhou City), Chen Sigu's Battle of Taihu Lake, Wu Jie's Battle of Shangyuan, Wu Jie's Battle of Nafengling Pass, Li Shi's Battle of Tangdao, Yu Yunwen's Battle of Caishi, Zhao Zhan's Battle of Caizhou, and Zhang Zige's Battle of Haizhou—are indeed the contents accurately recorded in the "Record of Thirteen Battles of the Central Army."
