Features: Taking unified action nationwide, this initiative conducts emergency surveys on folk customs through real-life inheritance and remnants, documenting local folk cultural records for all counties and districts. This is the first time such a comprehensive effort has been undertaken in history. Based on a concrete understanding of the relationship between folk customs and local life, this new-style local folk cultural record, reflecting cultural awareness in times of profound cultural transformation, is an unforgettable spiritual journey. The unified writing format of this record is called the "Symbolic Culture-Guided Folk Custom Record," designed to highlight the distinctive features of local folk customs, reveal the characteristics of local culture, and understand the expressive habits of local folk customs. It is hoped that this grand-scale record will help preserve and nurture the cultural roots that have sustained the development and growth of the Chinese nation.
