Features: This is a that recounts the arduous and perilous journey of the police officers from the Gansu Provincial Public Security Department, under the direct command of the Provincial Party Committee leadership, as they fought through twists and turns, braved life-and-death challenges, and ultimately dismantled the notorious criminal gang, which had been meticulously built over many years by the high-ranking official's brother, Li Jie. The shocking crimes committed by the Li family's criminal gang operating under the guise of a company are appalling, while the deeds of the police officers who fearlessly overcame difficulties and broke through the iron curtain are truly hair-raising. What is even more commendable is that, while documenting the execution of the head of the Li family's criminal gang by the police, the author also reveals the intricate relationship between kindness and cunning, justice and evil, desire and piety, the ordinary and the sublime, as well as universal sin and karmic retribution, offering profound reflections.
