Features: This work is not very long in length but is quite rich and substantial in content. It can be broadly divided into four parts: the first part discusses the basic theoretical principles of the logic of categories, the second part further explores the theoretical aspects of the system of logic categories, the third part analyzes the thoughts of Aristotle, Kant, and Hegel on logic categories and their systems in the history of Western philosophy. The appendix of this book can be considered the fourth part, analyzing the category systems and structures of Mao Zedong's "On the Long War" and Deng Xiaoping's theory. As a specialized work on logic, its fundamental characteristic is to analyze categories and essence from the perspective of logical thinking, with a focus on discussing the necessity and possibility of constructing a system of logic categories, as well as the basic principles and methods for constructing such a system. Another feature is the adoption of a combined historical-theoretical approach, integrating the theoretical research on logic categories with the famous theoretical research in the history of philosophy. In summary, this work is an academic monograph with distinctive features and theoretical novelty. It is also a new achievement resulting from Professor Peng Yilian's long-term dedicated research.
