Features: This code was developed in accordance with the requirements of Document No. 2630 of the former State Planning Commission (Jizong (1986) 2630), organized and supervised by the National Acoustics Standard Technical Committee and the Architectural Acoustics Sub-technical Committee. It was specifically drafted by a working group composed of Tongji University, Beijing Architectural Design and Research Institute, China Radio and Television Broadcasting Film and Television Design and Research Institute, Southeast University, Tsinghua University, China Academy of Building Research, and China Film Science and Technology Research Institute. Based on extensive research and practical experience, the working group proposed a draft for comments, sent it to relevant units across the country for feedback, and held a review meeting with participants from domestic institutions for in-depth discussions. After soliciting widespread opinions and revising the draft repeatedly to form a submission draft, it underwent national review meetings and review by the National Acoustics Standardization Technical Committee before being finalized and submitted for approval in 1991. In 2004, in accordance with Document No. 4 of Jianbiao Biaoduan Si (2004) issued by the Standard and Quota Department of the Ministry of Construction, the working group continued to revise and organize the content. Finally, it was reviewed and finalized by the Standard and Quota Department of the Ministry of Construction in conjunction with relevant departments. The main technical content of this code includes: 1. General Provisions; 2. Terms and Symbols; 3. Theaters; 4. Cinemas; 5. Multi-purpose Halls; 6. Noise Control. It primarily specifies technical indicators such as the design of audience hall shapes, reverberation time in the audience hall, and noise limits.
