Features: According to the task assigned by the document "Notice on Issuing the Second Batch of National Construction Engineering Standards Formulation and Revision Plan for 1998" (Jiange [1998] 244) of the Ministry of Construction, the standard formulation team revised the "Unified Standard for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Drawing" (GBJ114-88). The formulation team first prepared a draft for public comment based on the feedback collected in 1990, soliciting opinions nationwide. Subsequently, they submitted a draft for review, which then underwent correspondence review and expert review before being approved, giving it a solid foundation among the public. The purpose of revising this standard is:
1. To ensure technical consistency with the relevant national standards issued and implemented since 1990 in the "Technical Drawing," including the relevant standards of ISO/TC 10.
2. To fully consider the characteristics of manual and computer-aided drawing, taking into account the needs and new requirements of both.
3. To modify, delete, or supplement outdated examples, expressions, and drawing rules that are no longer suitable for current use, making them more aligned with practical work requirements.
This standard is a recommended national standard.
