Concrete Mix Design Handbook

Publish Date: 2002-11-01
Features: In 1992, to support the implementation of new regulations for engineering design, construction, and quality evaluation using concrete strength grades instead of designations in China, we compiled the "Concrete Strength Grade and Mix Ratio Handbook." After ten years of use, it has been well-received by readers. Since concrete is a heterogeneous building material, designing a highly cost-effective concrete mix is not easy. This is not because the content of concrete mix design is too advanced, but mainly because there are differences in the use of cement, sand, gravel materials, as well as construction techniques, management levels, and temperature conditions in various regions. Although the authors of the "Concrete Mix Ratio Practical Handbook" have considered several factors, this handbook is still only a reference for guiding concrete trial mixes.
