Features: Publishing the series "Classics of Ancient Chinese Poetry and Prose" has been a long-standing plan of ours. We are fully aware of our limited capabilities, but presenting ideal books to readers is our inescapable responsibility. In compiling this series, this volume has focused on four key aspects: selectivity, comprehensiveness, annotations, and design.
Selectivity refers to the careful selection of the most outstanding works from ancient poetry and prose anthologies for promotion. We emphasize the authority of the compilers and their editorial approach, as well as the widespread circulation of the works, ensuring they possess genuine collectible value.
Comprehensiveness aims to fully reflect the essence of ancient poetry and prose anthologies. The selected works and their content are presented without.
Annotations include brief introductions to the authors featured in the anthologies, necessary explanations for some titles, and phonetic annotations for difficult characters, as well as definitions of obscure terms and allusions.
Design strives for aesthetic appeal and elegance, making the books suitable for personal reading or as gifts for friends and family.
