Civil War Poetry Anthology (1—6)

Author: Zhang Yinpeng (Editor)

Publish Date: 2002-12-01
Features: This book introduces traditional poetic literature from the Republican era, which totals over a hundred types. As the last chapter of classical poetry, collecting and organizing Republican poetic discussions holds significant documentary and research value. The editor follows the example of Ding Fubao's Qing Shi Hua, selecting thirty-six notable and relatively rare works from over a hundred Republican poetic discussions, revising and compiling them into this collection. The content of the book can be broadly divided into three categories: first, works that emphasize critical reviews, historical accounts, and poetry collections, such as Shiyi Shifu Shi Hua; second, works that record and document actual events, such as Shi Zhao Shi Cheng; and third, works that focus on theoretical criticism, such as Shi Xue Yuan Yuan and Kong Xuan Shi Hua. The book consists of six volumes, with the works in each volume arranged by the author's birth and death years (supplemented by the publication date). Each entry is preceded by an "Editorial Note." Additionally, some works are published for the first time.
