This research achievement, which fills a gap in the field, has played a positive role in helping teachers and readers understand and appreciate the splendid Bashu culture, inherit the rich literary heritage of Bashu, enhance their humanities literacy, and cultivate a love for their hometown and their country. This book aims to promote the ancient civilization of Bashu, carry forward the excellent cultural traditions of Bashu, inherit the abundant literary legacy of Bashu, while also enriching and perfecting the local course textbook system for the academic advancement and continuous education of primary and secondary school teachers in our province. The book selects 171 authors from the Han Dynasty to the Republic of China, with 171 Bashu ancient texts written by or about Bashu. In a broader sense, the literary forms include prose texts written in each era as well as ci and fu composed in parallel prose style. The content includes a large number of articles describing Bashu's landscapes, famous scenic spots, historical relics, and local specialties, covering the grandeur of the Jiange Pass, the perilousness of the Three Gorges, the lush greenery of Lushan, the elegance of Mount Emei, famous temples, Sichuan salt and bamboo, and other premium local products. In short, the book is rich in content, with countless pearls shining and radiant colors. Of course, as ancient texts, they are inevitably limited by the historical context and the authors' backgrounds. We believe that teachers and readers have the discernment to grasp them correctly.
