Features: With the deepening of China's reform and opening-up, and the development of economies in various ethnic groups, minority cultures have also attracted global attention. To help more Chinese and foreign friends understand China and the cultures of its ethnic minorities, this five-volume, approximately 5 million-word "Great Dictionary of Chinese Ethnic Minority Cultures" was compiled. If it serves to promote and carry forward the culture of China's ethnic minorities, that would be our greatest comfort. Of course, compiling such a large-scale dictionary is not an easy task. We organized hundreds of experts and scholars in succession and spent four years to complete it. "The Great Dictionary of Chinese Ethnic Minority Cultures" is a large-scale specialized dictionary. It includes approximately 25,000 entries related to 55 ethnic groups in China. The book is divided into five volumes: Northeast and Inner Mongolia Region Volume (including the Xibe ethnic group), Southwest Region Volume, Central and Southeast Region Volume, Northwest Region Volume, and Comprehensive Volume.
