Features: Cohabitation in university is undoubtedly a makeshift solution for "living for the moment," a self-numbing act like drinking poison. My strong stance stems from the fact that the essence of university cohabitation today has far surpassed the so-called concepts of love and values! True vows of eternal love and profound commitment are rare among university cohabitors, while most are driven by fleeting feelings. This year, the reporter conducted research on the issue of university cohabitation in six major cities—Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Changsha, and Chengdu—visiting some renowned universities. We first employed anonymous questionnaires or random surveys, with the results showing that 48.5% of students "understand" or approve of premarital cohabitation, while 27% are unsure. In other words, almost 75% of university students either "accept" or "don't oppose" the phenomenon of cohabitation. In an open-ended question, "If your partner asks for premarital sex, what would you do?" 56% of students said they would agree or might agree. When asked, "Can sexual activity occur as long as a romantic relationship is established?" 23.5% accepted this idea, while 35% were unsure. Regarding the question, "Have you ever cohabited with someone of the opposite sex?" 52% of students admitted to it, with the figure rising to 67.3% among female students. It is undeniable that contemporary university students' acceptance and indifference toward cohabitation represent a complete and fundamental subversion of traditional views on love and morality. This book aims to present the diverse "views on cohabitation" and real-life stories of university students to readers, encouraging more people to pay attention and reflect on this unique "social" issue within university campuses.
