Features: Liu Yongjie, born in 1950, is from Chang'an, Shaanxi. He graduated from the (Chinese Painting) Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, earning a Master's degree in Literature. Currently, he is a Professor and Director of the Chinese Painting Studio at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, a member of the China Artists Association, and a committee member of the Art Committee at Shaanxi National Painting Institute. His works include 《》 (Celebrating the New Year), which won the Excellence Award at the 6th National Fine Arts Exhibition and was collected by the National Art Museum of China. 《》 (Silk Road Charm) (co-authored), which won the Gold Medal at the 7th National Fine Arts Exhibition. 《》 (Ancient Silk Road Market) won the Bronze Medal at the 1st Maple Leaf Award of the Canadian Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Research Association in 1992. 《》 (Golden Autumn in Guanzhong) won the Third Prize at the 3rd China Contemporary Gongbi Painting Exhibition in 1994. 《》 (Guanzhong Men) was selected for the 8th National Fine Arts Exhibition. 《》 (Autumn in Liangshan) won the Bronze Medal at the National Chinese Figure Painting Exhibition in 1997. 《》 (Thick Land) was selected for the 9th National Fine Arts Exhibition. 《》 (Tang Dynasty Silk Road Map) (large-scale gongbi painting, co-authored), a mural, won the Excellence Award at the 1st National Fine Arts Exhibition in 2004. 《》 (Fiery Land) (gongbi painting) was selected for the 10th National Fine Arts Exhibition in 2004 and was collected by the Zhejiang Art Museum. In 1997, he received the special allowance for outstanding contributions to cultural, artistic, and educational undertakings from the State Council.
