Features: In response to the current state of Chinese painting creation and the issue of a lack of talented middle-aged and young artists in China, the China Artists Association recruited over 80 middle-aged and young painters nationwide with certain creative abilities to establish the first Chinese Painting Creation Advanced Research Class. Among these students, some have solid foundations and a certain understanding of tradition; some excel at capturing interesting subjects from life, creating works that avoid clichés; some explore brushwork and ink techniques without adhering to conventions, producing compelling and novel works; and some demonstrate strong individuality, avoiding conformity and possessing an independent artistic character. Their works range from rigorous and meticulous to clear and elegant, from rough and unrestrained to upright and solemn, yet all possess a unique charm. The works in this small collection are an initial reflection of the painters' creative abilities. Though small in scale, they still demonstrate the artists' spirit of seeking truth and reality, as well as their solid foundational skills.
