What is the treatment method for epididymal malformation?

Patient's question:

I always find that there's something a bit different down there, but I can't quite put my finger on it. So I went to the hospital for a thorough examination, and the results said I have an ectopic epididymis. What are the treatment methods for an ectopic epididymis?

Doctor's answer:

When varicocele of the epididymis does not affect fertility, no treatment is required. Segmental epididymal self-locking can be treated by epididymal tubule vas deferens anastomosis. Under a surgical microscope magnified 10 to 20 times, two methods of epididymal vas deferens anastomosis, Silber and Wagenknecht, are used. The main difference between the two methods is that the Silber method involves anastomosing the expanded epididymal tubule to the vas deferens end-to-end, while the Wagenknecht method involves anastomosing the expanded epididymal tubule to the vas deferens end-to-side. For patients with epididymal conditions, timely treatment can reduce the incidence.
