Features: This film tells a mysterious urban love story filled with a subtle fragrance. The female master's degree student Wu Fang constantly attends blind dates, and every time she goes on a date with a man, she orders a cup of green tea. She believes in what a girl named Lang Lang once said—that one can predict a person's love life from a cup of tea. Chen Mingliang, however, thinks all of this is nonsense for girls. He has no research on green tea, but he is confident in his understanding of women. He believes women fall into two categories: forest-type and Roman-type. In the forest, you see countless paths and endless possibilities, so men easily get lost in the presence of forest-type women. In contrast, men easily lose themselves in the presence of Roman-type women, because you never know how many people are moving toward the same goal on another path.
Wu Fang and Chen Mingliang, each carrying their own understanding of love and hidden love experiences, begin a new love competition. But Chen Mingliang soon discovers that behind this competition, there is someone who determines their outcome—she is the mysterious Lang Lang. If the world of the two of them is a cup, then Chen Mingliang and Wu Fang are the tea leaves at the bottom of the cup, while Lang Lang is the tea water. The water determines the direction in which the tea leaves rotate, the way they intertwine, and the rhythm of their sinking and floating.
